“And when he saw the beadth of his domain…”

Finally!

It’s been a long time coming and a long while since last post, but a printed test version of the board game is in our hands! It’ll probably still be some time before we are ready for any serious distribution, but with a physical test copy we can start to easily see where changes need to be made and we can start showing the game off to new players that aren’t as likely to get in on a Tabletop Simulator version of the game.

We have already discovered some minor issues with the rule book and a couple of things we’d like to consider changing for some of the printing materials, new card ideas, and some artwork edits, but that’s what testing is all about so it’s exciting to be getting feedback again!

We printed through The Game Crafter, which is a very convenient way to get a game put together quickly, though there are some limitations for materials and sizes of prints so we have had to make some choices that will likely change in later editions.

I haven’t yet had a chance to play myself, but I’ve been busy (I’m getting married this weekend, actually) so I’m really looking forward to a chance to play very soon!
